Eva Zar was born and raised in Vienna, Austria, after her mother immigrated there from Dagestan, Russia. In 2016 she moved to New York City, which she now calls her home. Eva's work is often described as soft, intimate, playful and romantic, which she feels is a reflection of her desire to capture her subjects during intimate, heartfelt moments.
